END OF GAME
CAYUGA GOING TO STATE. WILDCATS WIN 61-39.

Fourth Quarter
1:08 - Traylon Shead comes in for a second, but after a foul on Caleb Summerville, the Cayuga bench enters and the starters are off the court.

Fourth Quarter
1:46 - Layup by CJ Wagner and Cayuga leads 57-32. This one is over. Calling it. CAYUGA TO STATE!

Fourth Quarter
2:32 - MM starts to foul Cayuga trying to get in the bonus. It is desperation time for the Mustangs.

Fourth Quarter
3:13 - MM ends Cayuga 12-2 run but Jenkins gets his 17th point of the game and Cayuga starts to slow down. Wildcats look like on their way to the state tournament.

Fourth Quarter
4:43 - And there comes MM final timeout as Davelin Campbell gets a steal and finds Chris Turner for the layup and Cayuga leads 50-29. Wildcats are less than five minutes from finally breaking through the SFA barrier and getting to state.

Fourth Quarter
Cayuga has outscored MM 12-2 in this quarter and MM really cant call timeout since only have one left.

Fourth Quarter
5:51 - Cayuga starting to run way with it. Steal by Kennedy and layup by Jenkins for 46-29 lead and have ball back to Shak for another basket, 48-29,

Fourth Quarter
Steal and layup by Campbell makes it 42-29. Traylon Shead back on the bench with his team as Greg Jenkins talks to doctor about him.

Fourth Quarter
Cayuga gets putback by Wagner and steal by Kennedy for basket by Shak Jenkins to increase lead to 40-29. Martin's Mill calls its fourth timeout of the game, a full timout, after they get trapped in the back court. MM only has one timeout left. Cayuga starting to increase the pressure. As for Shead, he is getting his foot wrapped by the Cayuga doctor and the ankle brace in going back on. Not sure if he will be able to come back in, but with the way they are taping him up and putting every thing back on, he will probably at least try it out and see if he can get back in.

End Third Quarter
Cayuga heads into the fourth quarter with a 36-27 lead. MM dictated pace in the third quarter as Cayuga only scored eight points in the frame. Traylon Shead still down on the floor being looked at, he has 11 points to lead Cayuga and it is hopeful for the Wildcats that he could return.

Third Quarter
39 sec - Traylon Shead goes down hurting after tying to make a pass. He comes out of the game and goes to the side of the arena where assistant coach Russell Holden and a SFA trainer looking at him. Looked to be something with his leg or foot.

Third Qaurter
1:17 - Traylon gets basket inside and Cayuga leads 36=27. Slow pace game right now ans MM really been able to dictate it,

Third Quarter
3:29 - MM cuts the lead to eight points before Cayuga runs the floor and Shak Jenkins gets a layup to increase the lead to 34-24. Game is being played at MM's pace but Cayuga just needs to continue playing good defense and not try to do too much that someone will get open.

Third Quarter
5:44 Traylon Shead has a couple of free throws and Shak Jenkins has a basket as Cayuga leads 32-19,

Halftime
Cayuga takes a 28-15 lead into the break. Coach Jenkins probably pleased for most part, expect for the last foul which allowed MM to get two points from the free throw line. The Wildcats setting the tempo with their defense as MM having a hard time, other than two three pointers, to get an open shot. Cayuga also forcing MM one and out, not allowing any offensive rebounds. Traylon Shead leads Cayuga with eight points and CJ Wagner and Shak Jenkins each has five points.

Second Quarter
Cayuga works the call and Preston Anderson hits a three pointer to increase lead to 28-13 but before end of half, Cayuga fouls Boot Brantly, who makes both FT.

Second Quarter
With a minute left, Cayuga holding the ball at midcourt, guess looking for last shot since Martin Mill going to allow it. MM starting to put pressure.

Second Quarter
1:47 - MM has to call their third timeout of the game to avoid a 10-second call. Traylon Shead just got a steal and got the ball back for the basket to increase the lead to 23-13. Cayuga is playing as fast as they can against MM, which wants to slow the ball as much as possible, but the Wildcats still finding ways to run when they can. Defense for Cayuga has been tremendous as MM has had difficulty looking for open shots against the athletic zone.

Second Quarter
2:41 - Billy Duncan forces a charge after MM cut the lead to 21-13. The Wildcats take a full time out to get some subs in. The Wildcats are subbing a lot of players in while MM is only subbed two players in. May take a toll on the Mustangs later in the game against a fresher Cayuga team.

Second Quarter
4:55 - Cayuga has outscored Martin's Mill 6-1 so far as CJ Wagner makes a nifty pass to Shak Jenkins for a layup and a 21-9 lead.

Second Quarter
6:13 - Shak Jenkins hits a baseline jumper to get the lead back to double digits, 19-9.

Second Quarter
7:04 - Malcome Kennedy just picks up his third foul on a charge and heads to bench for rest of half. Cayuga leads 17-8.

End of First Quarter
Cayuga leads after the first quarter 15-8. The Wildcats have shown that they can pressure MM, who wants to try and sit back on offense. The only thing keeping MM in the game right now is a couple of three pointers and keeping the Wildcats off the offensive glass. Cayuga just needs to keep up its pressure.

First Quarter
32 sec - MM has hit two three pointers to cut lead to 14-8. Only way for MM to stay in this game is to make those long shots because Cayuga too athletic inside.

First Quarter
2:03 - MM head coach upset because he feels Cayuga defenders are riding his ball handlers.

First Quarter
2:50 - Dalevin Campbell gets a steal and layup for a 12-2 lead. Martin's Mill calls its second timeout and head coach Trae Moore is all over the refs unhappy about some call. Not really sure why fired up, Cayuga is just playing with more intensity than Mustangs.

First Quarter
3:14 - MM is trying to hold ball on offense but just wasting time as Cayuga gets fourth steal and Shak Jenkins makes one Ft and Cayuga leads 10-2

First Quarter
5:03 - Cayuga back at it. Malcome Kennedy hit a three pointer at top of arc. Shak Jenkins then steals inbound pass and gets to Traylon Shead for layup and Wildcats lead 7-3 and force MM timeout.

Pregame
Few minutes before game time for the second game of the regional finals at SFA - Cayuga vs. Martin's Mill. Can the Dogwood Circle have two boys teams heading to Austin next week after Slocum just topped Laneville in overtime in the DII finals. This game has the No. 1 Wildcats facing a familiar face in Martins Mill, who was in the Wildcats district before the last realignment.
